High performance medium-size and enterprise SAN router provides sixteen 1, 2 and 4 Gbps Fiber Channel switch ports and two 1 Gigabit Ethernet ports for fabric switching, interconnection of multiple Fibre Channel fabrics and hardware-assisted traffic processing for long-distance extension using Internet Protocol. A variety of short wave and long wave Small Form-factor Pluggable optical transceivers are supported. The base router includes WEB TOOLS and Advanced Zoning, FC-FC Routing Service, FCIP Tunneling Service and Extended Fabric.
